We spent every day in the pool! This was perfect for our group of 19. Arcade games and the pool/pingpong tables were very popular, and we completed several puzzles on the dining table. Plenty of room for spreading out or gathering as a group.
Picked up Tip Top Meats prime rib dinners dinners the first night, took sand castle building lesson with EJ, and Chef Alonzo came in and cooked a marvelous Italian dinner our last night.
Very private feeling and wonderful views. Fed the horses treats and observed humming birds, bunnies, lizards, frogs and a snake! So cool.
Bob, his son Dylan and Roy, the daily main man, were very responsive to any requests we had for assistance.

Fantastic property and owners. Beautiful spacious estate overlooking the hills with a wonderful pool and hot tub. Plenty of room for our guests. Owners Bob and Dylan were prompt, polite, and always accommodating. Nearby horses were a big plus! There’s a small town just a few minutes drive with grocery store, a Starbucks, and a few restaurants. This was a superb getaway for my old medical school friends and I, and we recommend you get in touch with Bob and book this place right away!

Host was extremely communicative to our needs and answered texts late into the night. Ranch is conveniently located 5 min drive from a town with every major store/restaurant type. Nice rolling hills with view for miles. Fun videogames and entertainment options within the compound.

Family reunion for large family that came from all over the country. The two houses worked perfectly so family could have some quiet time at the other house while one may be more active. The pools were perfect. The setting was perfect. The rooms comfortable and spacious. The houses are quirky and some things needed fixing, but Bob the property manager was available by text all hours of the day. We loved hanging out by the pool and the big deck for long conversations into the evening. Highly suggest for big gatherings and privacy! The grounds crew were so friendly and lastly we hired Chef Alfonso to cater a few dinners and he was excellent! So kind and a great chef. It was a great week!

This property was fantastic for our 3 generation family trip. The pool was perfect, swingset and tennis courts were also a hit with our kids too. The room set up provided lots of space and the open living, dinning room and kitchen allowed everyone to stay connected.
Bob and Dylan were good hosts and were quick to respond when needed too.
The only downside would be getting a key for the facility. We didn’t feel like the doors locked very well even though there was a key pad code at the end of the driveway.
One opportunity for improvement would be to put hooks up for towels in the bathrooms.

This is a wonderful property. The owner/manager was very responsive and available. The kids loved the pool and basketball court. The adults loved the beautiful terrace and hillside views. Make sure to book the private chef service for an added touch of the extraordinary!

Our blended family has members from 75 to 14 months. We were so happy to find a home large enough for everyone to have the privacy (bedrooms / baths) that we needed and sleep in a “real” bed. The tennis court was huge hit, as were the bicycles provided by the host for the children. Pool was perfect for lounging in the afternoon. Kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked every meal in the house and found everything we needed. The host was very responsive when we had questions.

The house was a dream for those with a family. The house was spacious, clean and full of fun things for the family. The tennis court is huge and loaded with toys for kids and adults. The kids were obsessed with the playground and beautiful heated pool. Bob was wonderful with communicating and let us go on a horseback ride on property. We enjoyed cooking in big kitchen and eating outside watching the sunset . We had no reason to leave the house entire weekend! We will be back!

There was always something to do. From the pool to the playground to the tennis court, arcade game and foosball the options were endless. Also wonderful places just to relax. The location is close enough to stores and restaurants for anything you may need. Waking up to the chickens and the horses was a treat for us city dwellers. We would highly recommend Bob and his property.

We stayed at the Tennis Ranch for the Thanksgiving week with our sons and two of their friends. Because of Covid, we didn’t go out of the house much, but we were so comfortable at the house, and there were so many things to do, that we had a wonderful and fun week. I can’t imagine a tennis court in a more beautiful setting! It was amazing to sit on the deck watching the boys play tennis with the amazing view of the mountains in the background. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Bob was amazing and super responsive when we had a question. We hope to be back after the pandemic is over, so we can explore the area a bit more. Oh – and we had a fabulous take-out Thanksgiving dinner from the Green Dragon Tavern in Carlsbad! The best I’ve ever had!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!

Wonderful vacation rental for a family or group. This place is beautiful and spotless. It has foosball, pool table, tennis court, swimming pool, kids playground, a hiking path, and beautiful views. Bob is nearby if you need him (we didn’t need him). We hope to be back soon!
